I was T-boned on front quarter panel on 9/25/2017. The van was totaled. The airbags deployed. Not even my mechanic knew there were airbags installed under steering column above brake pedal. My legs were smashed and pinned into the van due to the air bags. I sustained very bad injuries that even 5 months later I have not recovered and am told I may not ever fully recover. The force of the plastic cover being plummeted at my legs caused severe internal and external bruising all the one down into my bones, Also, the force in which steering wheel airbag deployed caused wires in steering wheel shaft to catch fire. This all left me helplessly trapped and very scared in a totaled vehicle which was leaking all fluids and on fire. Air bags are suppose to prevent injury and death. Not cause life long damage and scarring. WILL NEVER OWN A DODGE AGAIN!!!
