So, i purchased a 2010 dodge challenger se model about 4 years ago for about $10,000.00, from a personal seller that mover to Washington state after getting out of the military. With in the first few months after owning the vehicle i started to notice it was acting a bit sluggish so i went to Oreilly's auto parts store and purchased the oil kit and spark plugs thinking it was needing a good tune up. Then about two weeks after that i started to hear what sounded like popcorn under the hood, at first it was not too noticeable, then after about two days of driving on the freeway and through town, it then gotten worse. Now at every stop and stop lights the popcorn sound became even louder, and louder to the point that it was even during driving.
I was very nervous at this point, stopped the car called a tow truck and had it taken to my mechanic in Tacoma WA, about one week later the mechanic called me and told me the timing chain was broken, and it would cost me $6,000.00 plus, to get it fixed. it sat at the shop almost two in a half year since that is how long it took me to get the money together to fix it. it has been fixed and drivable since the timing chain was fixed, now there is another problem, an electrical problem that just randomly appeared after replacing: SU3352 Sensor, TEMP Sensor, 911-904 Actuator, Fuel Cap, TB1038D Electronic Throttle Body, and now both the primary and secondary fuel pumps. not to mention the ABS/TPS Brakes sensor under the brake pedal (twice). it even has a new alternator, i am thinking at this point it just might have something to do with the key fob and the alarm system since the key fob has never worked since i got the car back from the shop after the timing chain was replaced. the car acts like it wants to turn over but does not turn over. instead, it just drains the battery,
