The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Challenger. While attempting to drive the vehicle, it failed to start. Also, the driver's side window independently rolled up and down. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep (900 S brand blvd, glendale, ca 91204, (818) 839-2457) where it was diagnosed that the door latch was draining the battery and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 106,000.
