I had the dealership fix a recall (N9C07) for the passenger seat wiring harness connector for the passenger side airbag a while back. My airbag warning lamp turned on recently and my mechanic told me it was that same issue that the recall was supposed to fix. I was told by the dealer that since this was replaced once already, they refused to replace it again. This is a major safety concern if the passenger side airbag does not deploy correctly. It is outrageous that their part is malfunctioning at no fault of my own and they refuse to fix it.

My vehicle was inspected for recall 13V-118, however the part was not replaced and is now having intermittent electrical issues, disconnecting the air bag system. I would like to have the vehicle re-inspected under this same recall and the problem corrected.

On April 6, 2019, while I was driving, my airbag light came on and stayed solid red, then it would go off and on with chiming sound. Because my 2011 Challenger is not in recall, dealer will charge unwarranted cost.

Takata recall. My airbag light randomly turns on and off. At times while driving, the light flashes on and off and it continuously beeps. Its nerve wrecking while I'm driving on local roads and even more when friving on the highway; has me very concerned. It started March 23rd and since then, its been doing it randomly.

Air bags go on and off randomly as described in NHTSA #13V118000. Chrysler says my car is not included in that recall and refuse to even look at it. Every time I hit a bump my airbag light comes on or goes off. Most of the time my airbags do not work.

My airbag is showing that there is an issue. I have been continuously checking the recalls for my VIN since the beginning of this recall notice and my vehicle is still not one that appears to be on the list for recall. I am sure it needs to be. I don't know what else to do. I believe that my car should have the necessary "life saving" repairs completed at no charge to me since this is a recall issue.

Smart glass op is bad in my car and my battery had to be replace after Chrysler Jeep in modesto calf fixed my alternator recall it took two daysfor repair the air bag recall they fixed light is still on smart glass acting up after every recall repair attempted...this whole call should be replaced big head ace I was lied to by the dealership I was told a lifetime of warranty not true lots of problem stress my window goes up/down by itselfwill not stop please recall this car in total I payed over 39000 for head ace window will not stop no securty draing my battery payed $212 for a new one window will not stop

"takata recall" recall #: S43/NHTSA 16V-352 I received the above safety recall notice in May 2016 and to date the Dodge dealership located in simi valley, California is advising that they do not have the parts to perform the safety recall. I took my car in to the dealership for maintenance and was advised at that time the the recall could still not be performed.

This seems like a serious issue. I could die if my airbag deploys! I don't feel they are handling this fast enough. I was notified of the recall by mail. I called northwest Dodge in may to schedule an appointment. They verified they had the part, put I needed to wait 10 days to schedule. Brought car in and after 40 minutes was told part was not available. It is almost October and not further notification and as of last week, part still not available.

The wires/connector for the front passenger side airbag sensor are located under the front passenger side seat. However, the wires and connection fitting easily become either disconnected or fouled with grime (as reported by the dealer) so as to cause the system to take the passenger side airbag offline. When this happens and a person is sitting in the seat, it flashes the warning light on the dash that the airbag is not operable. This has happened and been repaired at least twice before if not three times, and the airbag warning light came on yet gain this morning. I have had repairs on this same system alone twice since November 2015, and here we have yet a third failure of the exact same system, exact same part, exact some coupler, within 6 or 7 months. I asked last time they fixed it that they use a heat gun and shrink wrap on the fitting to prevent this happening again and apparently they did not. Of course, Dodge should not have designed a critical safety component in a way that allows simple dust or grime to get into it and foul the system, rendering an airbag inoperable. Oh and I have less than 45,000 miles on this vehicle.
