Challenger SS/T 3.6L

The car has always had shifting problems, it sounds like it's slipping when drones into gear. If I'm going through town at 35 and let off the gas when I push on the pedal again to resume car will thump back into gear. I've NEVER had a car go out of gear like this one. I drove this car for months and never heard downshift till one day it decided to. This car will hold a gear for 5 to 10 seconds before shifting. About 2 months ago I kick it down a little leaving town. After I backed off the gas the car under it,s own power was doing 55/60 mph while the motor was racking it's self between 3000/4000 rpm. It did that for 10 seconds. TWICE! The dealer acted like it was no biggie. The car dosen't shift the same way twice. Manual shift ok.
