The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that all of the components related to the instrument panel, such as the air conditioner, steering column controls, and phone system worked intermittently. The dealer was unable to diagnose the failure; however, they replaced the steering column switch, clock spring, wiring harness, head unit, amplifier, and radio. The contact stated that the failure worsened after the replacements. The manufacturer stated that they would replace the vehicle in July of 2007. As of November 13, 2007, the manufacturer had not replaced the vehicle. The failure mileage was 2,000 and current mileage was 7,700.
