Charger RT 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

Getting an oil change and the tech tells me the top of the dipstick has broken off. And that it will be 40.00. They have been doing my oil changes all these yearsI feel like they should replace it. Why on earth is the part you pull is made of plastic instead of of 1 piece all metal?!!

Charger SXT 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,137 miles

I went to check my oil and my dipstick snapped off ... (CHEAP PARTS!!!)

luckily it had a piece of plastic attached so I took a drill, was able to screw into it and pull it out with a pair of pliers
