Charger 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. While driving approximately 45 mph on normal road conditions the "check engine" warning light indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The engine stalled and failed to restart. The failures occurred intermittently. In addition, whenever dispensing fuel to the full capacity level an excessive amount of fuel spilled from the tank. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing who stated that the failure was contributed to the fuel pump. The vehicle was repaired for the malfunctions. The failure mileage was 70,000. Updated 03/09/10. The fuel pump wiring melted. Updated 06/01/10.

Charger 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 500 miles
In July 2007 I purchased a 07 Dodge Charger. It has been in the shop 20+ times in the last 6 months. The spedometer fluctuates from 60 to 40 mph when in cruise control and feels like it is going to stall when this happens. The vehicle has odd little shakes and shimmys. The check engine light wont stay off for more then 5 days. The remote entry wont work all the time even if I'm standing right next to the vehicle. There has been a new fuel extractor put into this vehicle.
