I went to the gas station to get some gas. I was on a city street in anahiem, ca. I put in $25, but it only took $21.78 when I went to start my car it would not start. I sat in my vehicle for at least thirty minutes trying to start it. I ended up contacting triple a for a tow to my residence.

My wife was driving over a bridge in city limits at 9:30pm and our car shutdown on her she felt a little pull and then the engine shut off and we had to get it towed. When I try to turn the car on the car sputters and turns as if it is going to start but never does. It put my whole family's life in danger the road where this happend is not well lit and traffic was heavy. I tried to put a video but it won't let me die to no proper format for file which is no good since my car won't start and I have no real way of showing you how my car is reacting or acting when I try to turn it

After refueling my car at the gas station my car has stalled on several occasions. This issue has been going on since 2011 so now whenever I get gas I do not fill up completely to avoid the stalling problem.

After filling the vehicle at a local gas station and upon coming to a stop light the car stalled. No check engine light came on nor did the car give any warning. The car restarted after some cranking and drove okay for a while. Later that day the car stalled again when at a stop light. Again, no warning was had and the car just stalled. The issue is well documented within "lxfourms" website by many many member who have had the same issue. The issue has never gone away and the only aid is to never fill past 3/4 of a tank when re-fueling which is the only thing that has kept my car from stalling. The problem seems to stem from a bad rollover/check valve that is located within the fuel tank and is not serviceable per Chrysler/Dodge. The only "fix" is a new gas tank which is as I understand the same design so is prone to fail again.

The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the electronic throttle control failed without warning as the check engine light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to an independent mechanic where the vehicle was diagnosed as the fuel injection system having failed. The vehicle was repaired, but the problem persisted. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000.
