Charger

I'm having major problems with the valve stems leaking. The vehicle is a 2010 Dodge Charger with Firestone firehawk pursuit tires. The vehicle has been taken to dothan Chrysler Dodge, dothan al 7 times already for valvestems and it only has 13,400 miles on it! the vehicle is owned by the Alabama dept. Of public safety, and rapid deflation of a tire is a major concern while in the performance of duties as an Alabama state trooper. The valve stems are leaking from the sidewalls of the tires. I'm at a loss as how to get this issue resolved. Dodge denies any problem even exists.

We have three 2010 police package Dodge Chargers on our department. All three we have had problems with the valve stems leaking. Each time this happens we have to replace the whole stem. The air pressure sensor is attached to the valve stem. This is a safety concern in my opinion. If your going at a high rate of speed to a call and the stem comes apart you will more than likely wreck your patrol car. Our state highway patrol is having the same problem. If you contact the Dodge Chrysler dealerships they will tell you the same thing. Why can't the sensor go on a band that is attached to the center of the wheel as they have done in the past.
