Charger 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,758 miles

I heard a slight whining sound coming from car when I pressed the gas pedal. Lifted the hood and saw smoke coming from under the engine. Tried starting the car again and it was dead. Had to have it towed to nearest town. Said I had to have the alternator, starter, and battery replaced! $1250.00 for repairs and now I'm scrambling to figure out how to pay my car payment and household bills!!! Thanks Dodge!!

Charger 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,000 miles

Well, this the 100th time this has happened since I bought the car new in Aug. 2011 and they have not resolved the problem...they think by calling me on the phone and saying how are you doing today and if you have a problem call us....like driving 40-50 miles and having them try to start it and then it starts for them they have tried to do something...last week it wouldn't start and I had to see that it started and drive to another town to dodge dealership and it started for them so it was like "you are so stupid"..did you put your foot on the brake before you pushed the starter

!!! (it has push button start) and so they sent me home if it does it again call us...got home a while got in the car and it wouldn't start so called them and took it back and it started so they sent me home again.....the only other person that has seen it not start it my husband...so I spent the whole day running to a dodge dealership and they sent me home and said to call them if it did it again....WHY? gas is to high to just run back and forth for them to tell me to go home and call them. I'm at my wits end....and they don't care....they have my money and that is all they care about....someone should get though to them they can't get by with selling people lemons and get by with it.

Charger 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200 miles

I bought car Aug. 2011 and less than 2 weeks later and less than 200 miles later when I tried to start it....it would not start...no click...no nothing...dead as a door nail. After waiting for a period of time It finally started. So hoping it was just a one time thing the only person I told was my husband...after a couple more times of not starting i took it to a dealership 30 miles away (the one where I bought it was 100 miles away) so I took it to one closer to home and they couldn't find anything wrong...so came home and it did it again...I finally called Chryster group customer center..they just want me to drive it and when it won't start just call the dealership and let them come and start it...the stupidest thing I have ever heard...they finally put a new battery in it...and it still fails to start(not every time) but you never know when it won't....they changed the door handles Wednesday(May 9, 2012) that was 20 miles from home where they did that and thought the problem was solved...I came home and 10-15 minutes I got in my car to run errands and it wouldn't start...so I called the dealership and they told me to come back(20 miles, one way) and so I did and they started it 25 times and it started every time so they sent me home and said when I have a problem to call them(if I'm in a 20 radius) and they will come and start it....I now have 9000 miles and could not say how many times it's failed to start...I travel to see my kids and am constantly wondering when I turn it off if it will start again...and sometimes it hasn't. JUST STOP AND THINK...if you bought a brand new car and never knew if it was going to start or not...and the powers that be act like it's no big deal...just call us and we'll try to help you....that just don't get it!!! HELP!!! The first dealership I took it to.....after several trips there said to take it somewhere else they didn't have the time to mess with it.
