problem #1

Aug 062025

Charger EV Daytona Stage 2 Ev

  • Automatic transmission
  • 800 miles

Note: Leased the vehicle in July. At around the 800 miles mark the problems began:

1. multiple times the red turtle popped up on the dashboard. You lose throttle and most functions of the vehicle stop working. You have to pull over and shut off and then turn back on and the problem magically disappears.

Took 45 days for engineers to fix.

2. Not going to list every break down individually due to its been approx. 15. In 8 months of leasing the vehicle its been in and out of the shop for just under 4 months. Yes thats correct not a typo.

From electrical issues, refusing to charge, refusing to turn on. My favorite is you get a message stop safely vehicle will power off. You have to pull over before car dies. Then takes approx. 1 hr. for it to turn back on. When its not those issues, the pop up of Warning Illumination Light Failure Service Required pops up. Basically, the system that lets you know vehicle is malfunctioning doesn't work. Poor dealer has tried everything to fix vehicle, but the Stellantis engineers have no clue. I ask for Lemon Law buyback and of course Stellantis refused. Had to get an attorney and 8 months later my case is finally scheduled for end of this month. Wish me luck. Last visit was 34 days. Got vehicle back and 3 days later not working. Dropped car off yesterday.
