I bought this truck at an auction, did not know how well it ran, i drove it home and it was just filling the street with smoke behind me. I got it home and i had to lift the hood and get a fire extinguisher because my clutch was on fire, from oil dripping onto it. this last fall i pulled the motor out of it and took it to college to work on. I found out my head (which was aluminum) was cracked in 3 places, my head gasket was blown, my valves were covered in carbon buildup, my valve springs did not perform well, and my piston rings were bad. I had the local machine shop look at my head and they said that it was still good. but I had to bore the motor out and get all new parts.
