Its no big deal but it looks ugly...... has white ring on the top and the hood ....looks like salt stain on a shirt from sweating.

MY 94 DODGE DAKOTA ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS THIS YEAR AND MODEL HAS A REAL BAD PROBLEM WITH THE PAINT PEELING OFF. I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. SEEMS THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRIMER OR METAL. DON'T KNOW IF DODGE WOULD ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM OR NOT. SOMETHING IS DEFIANTLY WRONG WHEN YOU SEE SO MANY OF THESE TRUCKS ONTHE ROAD WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE SEEN 50YR OLD CARS WITH ORIGINAL PAINT THAT LOOKS BETTER THAN MY TRUCK. THE BIG FOUR WONDERS WHY THEY HAVE TROUBLE SELLING VEHICLES. IF THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT THEN NO ONE WILL GO BACK TO THEM I KNOW I WANT. AND I HAVE OWNED ALOT OF DODGES

The 1994 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 is in excellent condition, with the exception of the paint. The paint on the hood is cracking and buckling, while the paint on the roof it peeling of to the bare metal. It is annoying to see white paint flying of your pickup as you drive the freeway.
My next move is to contact the local Dodge Dealership.
