I had good faith in Dodge until i went to install a trailer wiring harness and found that a bracket that holds the leaf springs has broke and is now putting a hole through the bed of my truck! Don't know if it would do anything but it sure would be a kind gesture if Dodge would pay for the cost and labor of having them both replaced. Oh yeah and the other side is ready to go as soon as i hit a pothole. The vehicle is not even 10 yrs old yet and is a rust bucket. I had one of those Toyota's that the frame had rusted out on and I got a satisfactory byback from them. Took that money and bought this Dodge Dakota Sport. So, Dodge, are you gonna help me out?

First the shackles broke and dented the bed of my truck box, had them replaced then not too long after that my leaf spring broke and punched through the bed of my box. From what I understand from my friend and the dealership they heard of this with the bigger Dodge trucks and Durango but never on a Dakota. You would think that Dodge would have some kind of coverage for when their suspension systems fail and they know about it.
