problem #1

Dec 042013

Dakota V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,477 miles

We were on a way to Florida when the truck on our second day out started to make a grinding sound. We managed to get to a garage in Virginia and they suspect that the bearings in the differential are the problem -and the whole rear end of the truck will have to be replaced.

We are now stuck waiting in a Motel for almost a week for parts and not only do we have to pay for the truck to be repaired we are paying for a Motel. And so far we are still waiting for the parts for the truck.

With what we feel is not high mileage for this truck-this should have not happened-it is a huge inconvience and very expensive-we have never had a problem like this with any other vehicle.
