I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota. Starting in May of 2010 I have had to replace both lower ball joints, both stab links, both tie rods, rear sway bare links ,and just in the month of Sept. both leaf springs. The truck doesn't even have 50,000. miles on it.Now I have a clunking noise in the front or the rear when I turn only. The dealership can't even diagnose the problem correctly. Naturally my 3 yr. 36,000.mile warranty is up. I'm in to this for 2500.00 and still not fixed right yet. I'M ONE AND DONE WITH OWNING A DODGE TRUCK.
I had a 1989 s10 as a young man and it had 120,000.00 miles on it and I never had this crap happen. I just maintained it like this one but, no luck. If anyone knows what the fix is I'd appreciate any advise.

Original owner of truck with just under 21,000 miles. This vehicle is never driven off road or over curbs and/or potholes. Started hearing barely perceptible scraping noise when turning about 5 days ago. The noise became worse and we took to trusted and reliable mechanic today. Vehicle needs tie rod! Because of the nature of the repair needed, we are advised not to drive the vehicle until it is repaired since it is dangerous. This is totally unacceptable in a vehicle with so few miles, although Dodge probably doesn't see it that way and will almost certainly make no attempt to make this right. This says volumes about their quality and craftsmanship. I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone.

We have had this vehicle for 3 months now and since day one its been acting up. I was a Dodge lover and now I really regret buying this POS. No one seems to know what the problem is and I'm tired of spending more money to attempt to get it fixed.
