Radiator Support Brackets rusted completely away from the Frame allowing the Radiator Fan to hit the Shroud around the Fan. The cross-piece that the Supports were attached to, and also attaches to the two halves of the Frame, is also EXTREMELY rusted with holes big enough to put your finger through. I took it to my local dealer and they took many pictures of the corrosion and expressed concern about the safety of driving it in that condition. They sent the pictures to DODGE and said they would ask if they had a solution...that was about four weeks ago and they have heard nothing back from Dodge. I called the local Dealer several times to get an update but nothing back so far. I had a couple mechanics look at the Frame and they said suggested not driving the truck the way it is. I reattached the Radiator using wire and tightened the bolts connecting it to the top cross bracket for now.

Most if not all of the chassis weld points are rusting. In addition, the fasteners (nuts, bots, washers) that are exposed to the elements are also rusting. Dodge did a lousy job with corrosion prevention on this pickup. I can't believe a 2006 would rust in so many places. Very disappointed in the quality of the parts used. Were they made in China...that would explain it as most of their stuff is junk.
