Windshield wipers are stuck on and washer fluid will not work. Therefore unable to get my car to pass inspection without paying almost $1000 in labor and parts to get fixed.

As of 2 days ago, my windshield wipers do not turn off. It was not raining so I took the wipers off completely. It is now raining and I took it to my mechanic and it will cost my about $1000.00 to fix. When the wiper arms aren't on, the bolts are still going back and forth. Don't know what to do, don't want or have the $1000 to spend on wipers.....

Ugh, my wipers will not turn off, and does not dispense washer fluid. I took to my mechanic and the code indicates the rain sensing module has lost communication and to refer to dealer. The car is dangerous to drive solely because no washer fluid dispenses should I get splashed or it’s snowing, or raining or freezing rain. My view will be greatly altered and may cause an accident. The dealer says I’m responsible for payment. Why? It’s not my fault the car wasn’t manufactured by the best workers or engineers. Pissed, you bet.
No wonder Dodge is discontinuing manufacturing Darts. With so many complaints it’s best to throw in the towel, and apparently screw the rest of us. I bought this car so I wouldn’t have problems, guess I was wrong, maybe that’s why many of us are purchasing foreign vehicles-they sure last longer. Ugh. I want my money back...

Window won't roll down in winter when it gets too cold. Happens more to the drivers side then the passengers died. Sometimes the rear windows too.

wipers are running all the time when car is on
Too many problems with this 2013 Dodge Dart car. Wipers are running all the time and do not respond to the switch/knob.

When it rains the wipers lift and leave streaks across the window, preventing me from seeing out.
I have replaced wiper blade after wiper blade with no resolution. The dealer replaced the wiper arm and yet again the same issue occurs. The window cracked and a new OEM windshield was installed and the same issue occurred with this one. I have no idea what is causing it but it is a rural pain in the back side when it is raining.

Windshield wipers will not turn off. Checked fuse / relay. Turns out the multifunction switch is a terrible design. The ribbon cable to the stalk moves when using the blinkers. When the cable moves, it rubs against plastic. No ribbon cable should ever rub against anything. This really should be recalled, I cannot allow my 4 month old to drive in this car, it can be a hazard in the right weather conditions.
Terrible engineering. This is a $400 part that, after replacing, could be an issue again soon. Windshield wiper electronics should not be a "wear and tear" item that I need to buy a $400 part every 40,000 miles. $400 for the part, who knows what labor would be?
Really annoying that pulling the relay for my wipers disables my left brake light and headlight, btw.
