Backseat of those not work. I have a lot of electrical issues. The trunk opens every time it's cold or raining by itself. When I start the car the car just flickers sometimes in the odometers bounce up and down. My car is telling me that my park light is out and it's not. Dart recall.....bought the car at 22500 miles and now at 46000 the car stutters and chokes in the cold rough idle and knocking sound coming from engine and the idle goes up and drops at high stops and will shut off the car when slowing down knock sound is heard once driven more the once the knocking goes but the stall at fast stops still happens when purchased wasn't informed recall was put on the car or various other Darts

Dodge Dart recall....PCM is acting up needs to be refreshed engine is choking in cold weather and will shut off at a sudden stop in dangerous situations engine revs are completely random but will drive normally once driven 4 times and engine is kept warm but braking suddenly or swerving away suddenly shuts off the car

Driving car normally. I parked in a parking lot and went into a store. When I came out to start the car it would not start. Charging indicator light and check engine light came on. Auto zone was in the plaza so I had the guy come out and do a diagnostic. Codes were P0123, P2122, P2127, P0222, U0401. When the guy went back into the store the car started. When I parked again 10 minutes later the check engine and charge light disappeared. Car ran fine for one day. About 33 hours after that incident I parked the car at a park for lunch from work. Took a walk and when I returned car never came on. Dash was flickering, all lights illuminated, mileage was flashing, gauges were flickering, car would not turn over. Acted as if battery was dead. Had to walk back to work and have car towed by aaa after work. Car has been sitting for 4 days and will not turn on. New messages came up: Check electric braking system, check air bags, service tire pressure system and check anti lock brakes system. The tire light is on me because a sensor in the passenger tire broke when I got a flat hitting a curb while parking. I replaced the tire but not the sensor. Also now the uconnect and radio not coming on and battery light comes on, and when I made attempt to start a message came up stating engine warming up"?" that was weird. This all happened all of a sudden within a two day span. Now I am stuck paying for a car I cant drive that is going crazy electronically.

Driving on the open road the car looses power, can't steer can't accelerate. Very dangerous when traveling at 70 mph even at 35 thru the city. I have noticed online of all the complaints and Dodge just says I don't know what to tell you. This needs to be fixed as some one will die driving these cars in this condition!! read were numerous people have been involved in accidents because of this. Happens more when turning in my case.

The headlights have been intermittent since I purchased the car, I ended up having to have both ballasts and bulbs replaced, still experiencing this issue intermittently. It is not something that is a recall or covered under any warranty past 40,000 this car has 50,000 and I'm already going to have a computer module replaced as it controls the headlights this will not be a cheap repair. This should be a recall as many Dart owners are experiencing this issue. The fog lights are the only forward facing lights I have that work at times, stationary or moving, other times it's one or the other,

The trunk goes crazy popping open over and over and the only way to close it and to keep it shut is to have your car in drive or reverse with the emergency brake set which is not safe at all especially with children in the car!

Driving to work on interstate 696 driving through royal oak West bound, the engine just shuts off, and shows on the dash engine trouble and electric symbol as well, lucky I was in the left lane and was able to get over, but it has been doing this since I got the car, dealer states they fixed it 3 times still doing the same thing. I have all the papers work since it started at 5000 miles.

There seems to be issue with Dodge, Chrysler vehicles where car shuts off while driving. This has happened with my dad Chrysler 300, my mom Dodge durango and now my Dodge Dart and it appears it is the alternator killing the battery. It is dangerous to put my car on the road as it can shut off any given time and no one can seem to figure out the issue.

My Dodge Dart has been having issues for a couple weeks. It will start jerking like you're driving a standard and don't know how to drive it. The ABS light, traction control light, check engine light and a couple other lights will all come on. When it does this there are times that you can press the had pedal all the way to the floor and it does nothing. Then the car started saying to check the transmission and when you shifted into certain gears it would say the gear was unavailable and you need to shift to drive or reverse. After troubleshooting I found that my fuse box, next to my battery, looks like several of the fuses have caught on fire. I don't know how the car hasn't gone up in flames. Aren't fuses supposed to break when something like this hastens

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. While the vehicle was in reverse, it started to jerk violently and the gear shifter failed. The contact was able to shift the gear into drive and was able to drive the vehicle. In addition, while accelerating from a stop, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The contact waited a few minutes before restarting the vehicle to continue driving. Also, the battery warning indicator illuminated. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and noticed that it was out of oil. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to determine the cause of the failures. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000.

I have a 2015 Dodge Dart SE and its been nothing but issues! in 2016 I was on the highway going 65mph and all sudden my [xxx] car shut off completely! I had to immediately turn it back on and shift into 4th gear because my car started slowing down while and I had to pull over! im so sick of this model and after reading about others having the same issues its just ridiculous and dangerous! I got it checked and they said everything looked okay and they didn't find any issues. So cars just turn off by themselves while driving for no reason"! fast forward to 2017, the engine light comes on for the first time and I take it to a Dodge dealership in killeen tx and I find out it was the thermostat and they told me there was nothing wrong and that I could drive to Alaska and back with no issues. So I leave and a day later the engine light is gone like it was never there. And here it is 2018 and the [xxx] engine light is back on again. I take it to Firestone on base and guess what the [xxx] they tell me"! you guessed right! the [xxx] thermostat. At this point I'm just pissed and frustrated and they tell me I'm looking at a $500 fix and that this is a common issue with the Dodge Dart! why was I not told this when the car was purchased! oh and it gets better. On 25march2018 I was on the highway going about 60mph and you won't believe what happened....ding ding ding right again! my [xxx] piece of [xxx] Dodge Dart turns the [xxx] off! I don't know if there's a [xxx] recall or not but I know I'm not the only Dodge Dart owner who is having this issue and I should've been told about these dangerous ass problems before I poured my hard earned money into a [xxx] deathtrap. I'm calling the dealership tomorrow to figure out what the [xxx] needs to happen. I'm not trying to die let alone have my babies in the [xxx] car and something happen.
