My Durango has decided to become the most unreliable, hard headed piece of junk you can imagine. Up until the last few months I have hardly had any complaints, but am I ever getting kicked in the rear now! At first, when the weather started getting cold, my Durango would go dead when I went in reverse. After I backed up, of course, so that my rear end was stuck out in the middle of the road. Then sometimes, it might start back up on the first try and sometimes not for a couple of minutes. Who knew? Then as the weather got colder, it started doing the same thing when I would go forward but only when I first started in the morning, like at the end of the driveway, if I put my foot on the brake. Now, It may do it in the morning or the afternoon or midnight, cold or not. It might stop once a day, or not for a week, or like yesterday 6 times in two hours! The shop kept it for four days and could not find one thing wrong with it. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I am a mom with kids and hate the thought of it finally just dying on the side of the road somewhere and being stuck. Not to mention the frustration of dealing with this CRAP! I know that this site says to add a complaint for every time that happens, but I don't have the time or energy for that I would say that it has probably quit at least 50 times while driving (when braking or slowing) in the last two months.
