Upper control arm bushing wore out causing a squeaking noise, and a popping noise when driving on washboard road or smallish bumps (manhole covers/small potholes). parts cost me 25 bucks. also lubed the sway bar connections.

Its not that hard ... go under car... look for bar running from lower control arm on left side and the lower control arm on right side and spray penetrating lube or chassis grease from an aerosol can on the part where it goes through a rubber mounting bushing on the bottom of the control arm and that fixes your problem... you will need to do it again ... it dries up just like you have to change your oil... its so easy you will feel like a retard when you fix it

I noticed it the most on back roads or when I hit the occasional bump. I would understand the squeaking if I was really hitting them hard, but it is really loud when I hit a manhole going 10 mph!!

The front end squeaks. But I'm sure it would be too much money to fix.

This vehicle's front end has been squeaking for about 2 years now. It all started when they replaced the ball joints to keep the wheels from falling off. The squeak has never gone away and it is horrible. I've read a complaint where someone said the neighbors know when he comes home and I know exactly what they are trying to tell everyone. This is exactly what it is like for us. I'm waiting to get back to the States before paying more money to have this problem fixed as I may be able to accomplish this myself - if I can find the time.

This car has multiple squeaks from the front suspension. They dealer replaced the ball joints on a major recall, and this solved the problem for about 200 miles. The problem returned in one week. The entire neighborhood knows when I come home due to the obnoxious squeaks emitting from my car. This vehicle sounds like a 50 year old farmers pickup truck.

The front end has been making horrible squeaking noise as I drive down the street. I've had the ball joints replaced which cost me over $350 and it still making the noise, so I took it back 3months later and they greased it and said when water gets in joints it makes it squeaks. I had to take back again after 6mos. and was told the front bushing needs replacing. As I have talk to other Dodge Dunrango owners and repair places everyone are having the same problem I am. I feel this is a recall problem and should be fix by Dodge, because when people hear this they say you dont have to worry about me, I want buy a dodge dunrango and was thinking about purchasing one.
