Replaced the regulators in the driver window and the passenger rear window 2005. Replaced the regulator in the front passenger the following year 2006.
Replaced the regulator in the driver window 2008.
Each regulator is approximately $200.00 each for parts only.

This is the 3rd window we have had to do this on.... and it costs $200 or more each time. I would seriously consider telling Dodge they need to fix their electrical issue with this part always going out!!!!!

So I have had this vehical for a number of years and 3 of the windows have failed in the last 5. Rear drivers side was first to go, had replaced at dealership for over $300.00. The front passanger side started giving me troubles and could not afford to have replaced because not more then two months later my drivers window went out. They were slow moving up and down then not working at all. I recently went online to find out what was causing this problem and printed out a diagram. I ordered parts and had them fixed by a friend for only the cost of the part. I have heard this happens a lot from the dealership. It had something to do with a tooth thing inside the door panel being PLASTIC!!! and stripping which causes everything else to malfuncition. Now my windows are working. Funny thing is - my son who is 8 sits on the passangers side rear window plays with his all the time and we have not had to fix that one. Knock on Wood! I love my car but I hate that they use cheap parts and can't come up with something better for replacements.

cant roll down any windows and only lock or unlock through the passenger door was told the prob. was in the bcm not sure though

Can you imagine what it is like to have a wonderful car that you love and not be able to drive anywhere because you have to tape the window up not to mention having 3 children in the car with you !!!!!!!AH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far I've had to replace 3 of the 4 power windows in the car. They stopped working without warning. Each time it is expensive and inconvenient because the mechanic winds up keeping the car 2 days or more. Absolutely needed to be repaired and it was not covered under warranty. I’ve spoken to other Durango owners who have had the same problem.

The driver's side window motor burned out about a year ago. I've replaced the motor twice because the first one burned out after I realized the window guide bar is burning out the motor. The guide bar is putting too much pressure on the window motor - causing it to burn out. At one time I thought it might be the window power panel (the electrical board) because the window was actually going up and down (even though very slow). So when I pulled the window power panel out and checked it out I realized how bad it was - the connections were not making contact very well and the lights were burned out. This part cost me $125.00 to replace and it wasn't all that was wrong with the window. We've had to pay for an entire new window system, cable, guide bar, and the motor.

Drivers side power window has failed half open. Its 6:30 AM, I am at work with a million things to do and now I have to try and find someone to fix this thing or fix it myself. If I dont, my car with either be pilfered, stolen or full of geckos and/or cockroaches by morning.
This is a tremendous pain.
