Durango SLT 4.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 168,798 miles

Vehicle shut off, without warning, while travelling 30 mph. The vehicle has new sensors, fuel pump, PCM, battery, alternator, and a half a tank of gas. Vehicle to be towed to a local shop and the mechanics have not been able to verify the issue. I googled the issue online and find that I am not the only one who has this issue with this problem. Even the local Dodge dealership is of no help!!

Durango XLT 4.6L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 102,000 miles

Picking the rig up at the dealer, just signed the papers on it, went to get in it and wouldn't start... Said they 'think' it's in the security system, but they are fixing it right now so we can bring it home....

Durango SLT 5.9L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

Same as all the others. Running at speed, dies on the road, cannot run again. Crank sensor, cam sensor, grounds, computer, plugs, o2 sensors, cat, timing chain, vacuum hoses, IAC motor, new fuel, Injector pump check, compression test and leakdown test, ignition pick up in the distributor!!!!!!!!???????? Contacted Dodge and they have no answer. Runs briefly and surges up and down, stops again. No codes but is dumping gas...You can smell it. No smoke from exhaust..........

Possibly injectors are sticking, but they show correct flow. Is anybody finding an answer?
