Durango 8-cyl

I am 6'1" and the rearview mirror blocks my view in my 2004 Dodge Durango. When looking right or turning right the rearview mirror is eye level on me, hence creating a serious blindspot. I have E-mailed Dodge and seen the dealer. Dealer doesn't want to touch it and have received no response back from Dodge for 2 months now. I suggested to have it moved or install a different mirror, but was told that would require replacing the front windshield.
