I have also had a problem with my Durango having the abs, traction control and sometimes check engine and brake lights coming on. It is in the shop right now for the 3rd time. They have replaced the ABS modual twice and last time they decided it might be my battery (less than 3 yrs old) causing the problem so they charged me for a new battery- of course batteries are not covered under warranties- and the problem is still not fixed. I am quite frustrated with the service. Maybe they will get it right this time.

I bought a used Durango when I got back from Iraq so that I could have a family vehicle. I had it for about 2 days and took it in for the promised detail job that came with it (I bought it on a Friday). When I went to pick it up after work on Monday, It had a broken tail light and a dented bumper! A week later they fixed it all; or so I thought until 2 days later! While I was making a right handed turn, going about 15mph, the brakes and steering wheel locked up. I had the Durango towed to a tow yard. It took my insurance agency a month and a half to just get a written estimate. I then had the Durango towed to the body shop, and it took them another 4 weeks to have it ready. I'm in the process of getting it looked at by an attorney and have the whole ordeal brought to the Dodge dealership that sold me the Durango.

Dealer has replaced sensors, checked for shorts, etc. They finally had the lights on the dashboard go off (abs and traction control). A few days later the lights came back on. My third trip to the dealer they had to call Chrysler because they did not know how to fix it. Chrysler is sending a valve that is installed before the sensor. Don't know if this will fix the issue. Currently my engine, brake, abs, and traction control lights are on.

I have had the same problem with my Durango having the ABS, traction control and sometimes check engine and brake lights coming on. I am putting it in the shop for the 3rd time since owning the vehicle. They have replaced the ABS module twice. The first time the dealer which I purchased the vehicle covered the repair. The second time it cost me $1,500 for the fix. Two months later I have the same problem. They should issue a recall. This sucks.
