About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
Complaint received via E-mail. Since the purchase of this SUV, I have had to bring the truck in for service for various things. Recommended service, a fuse out of place/battery recall, and today, January 8, 2005, for a detached throttle cable, which prevented acceleration. I discovered this problem as I was attempting to accelerate at a major intersection, and obviously, I was stuck in the middle of the road. We received assistance in pushing the truck off of the road, and I called gwinnett place Dodge. I explained the situation, and I was given the phone number to sw towing service. We also attempted to speak with a manager in regard to this matter.
