The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. While driving, the contact activated the front driver's side seat warmer and noticed that the seat was hotter than normal. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The independent mechanic stated that the seat was reupholstered, but the failure was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the dealer would inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was unavailable.
