problem #1

Feb 022014

Durango Limited 4.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

Truck shifts into unnecessary gears on even small hills, as if it is struggling to climb them. With a V8 4.7 four wheel drive this should not happen. Just got the truck and plan on changing plugs soon to try and fix. Trans shop changed fluid and filter and says trans is sound. Engine also acts as if its missing at times, however there is no code for a miss and engine light is not on.
