Durango Limited 5.7L V8 Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

The plastic on the seatbelt buckle broke off which keeps the belt from tightening up for a carseat. I do not know why on earth you would make a seatbelt out of cheap flimsy plastic. It just goes to show that the Pride American craftsmen take in their work is going down the drain. The cost of vehicles and vehicle repair keeps going up, but the materials used are getting cheaper and cheaper. there are a few interior items in our Durango that have cracked because they are cheap plastic (it is from daily wear and tear no misuse, or abuse). They will have to replace the whole seatbelt which I am afraid to find out how much that will cost.
