Durango Limited 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 129,865 miles

While driving, turning, parked, vehicle on or off, the 4WD selector will switch between AWD, 4lock and 4lo. The svc4wd light sometimes blinks after start up, sometimes while driving. This happens in park, neutral or drive and the transfer case motor can be heard switching under the vehicle. Today I had a horrific experience, I had parked the car and left it in P while I was checking for something on my phone, all of a sudden the car started rolling, gear lever was still in P and I noticed that the 4LO indicator was flashing. I had to manually stop the car with the brakes and engage the parking brake not to risk that this would happen again. This is very serious and should not be able to happen!
