Been losing power to the car while driving which cause me to lose my steering ability and the 4 wheel drive keeps kicking on and off while driving plus the wiper motor works sometimes and sometimes it don-??t. The navigation system comes on and off whenever it wants to and the rear end keeps popping

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Durango. The contact stated while the vehicle was stationary, the vehicle would not start. The contact eventually got the vehicle to start however, several warning lights started to flash and an unknown red warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to five star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of macon (3068 riverside dr, macon, ga 31210) in 2010 where it was diagnosed and the contact was informed that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The contact then took the vehicle to countryside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (846 E 3rd St, jackson, ga 30233) where it was diagnosed with the instrument cluster needing to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 64,504.

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, safety problems with lift gate when opening with key faub; lift gate opens and immediately goes down (when stationary). If needing to get groceries, or anything from the rear of van, need to have one person holding the lift gate, so the other person can remove items from van, to avoid the liftgate crashing down on you (causing injury and inability for vehicle to function safely). Also, problem with left sliding door lock; does not lock and unlock with key faub; have to manually lock and unlock, even though the rest of the doors lock/unlock, with the key faub. Couple of years ago, put groceries in the left side of sliding door and this door would not close, electronically, or manually. Had to drive home in the rain with the left side sliding door, wide open. Believe the hatch lift support part for right and left need replacing, however, the left sliding lock/unlock feature May. Or may not be associated with the electrical problems. It leaves a consumer to get a questionable diagnosis from dealers, or mechanics, who see this as an opportunity to nflate the problem with inaccurate diagnosis and overinflated charges, to take advantage of a consumer.

My vehicle started an electrical problem. It's switching my tires from all wheel drive to either 4low or 4lock while I'm driving and I can't hardly get my vehicle to turn while driving when it does this. I had my engine on and in park and heard the noise from underneath. It's the same exact noise that's made when I switch from AWD to either 4low or 4WD. This issue is occurring while I'm driving and I feel it mainly when I'm making a turn.

Transfer case can be heard engaging even when vehicle is locked and unoccupied. Engaging is sometimes triggered by the remote when locking/unlocking doors. 4 lo light started to flash then my back wheels locked up when I was driving 70 mph on the bypass with children in the truck. It is a miracle we didn't roll over, but another truck was forced off of the road while I used two lanes to try to control the Durango. I took the truck to the dealer and no one could find anything wrong with it (no active code)... it drove fine for a few days then the srvc 4X4 light came on and the truck switched into neutral while trying to cross a street... I couldn't move in the middle of a busy intersection. Towed the truck to the shop. Shop stated they didn't know what to fix. Still no active code, truck seems fine. I drove it a few more days and now it has slipped into a lower gear. Cannot travel over 35 mph.. parking, reverse and tight turns are very difficult. My take off speed is nearly nonexistent. Truck shifted back into neutral on its own as I was making a right hand turn. I shut off and restarted the truck three times. All three times it sounded like a stun gun sparking behind my dash and it lit up with a white light from inside. The instrument panel cluster has failed. Recall G07: Instrument panel cluster: Known to overheat and catch fire. The recall was performed on my truck in 2007, there was no warranty on the replacement part. Dealership will not help. I am so sorry I bought this truck. Please... why is Chrysler only responsible for fixing a recall one time/vehicle? they know it will fail again. It did, has and will continue to fail. Numerous owners have the same problem... replacing transfer cases, cpu modules and their problems do not go away because their problem is a difficult to diagnose recalled instrument panel cluster that will never code and tell on itself.

The contact was informed by the dealer that the part to repair the vehicle was out of stock. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.

Vehicle has stalled several times in the middle of the road as well as not starting at irregular moments. I have taken it to the Dodge dealership and auto repair shop. Each time to have something different fixed, first time it was battery and leads, next it was alternator, then new belt, and after each fix the problem would come back, finally an honest mechanic explained that I had to remove leads to battery for 5 minutes before car could crank again. This makes no sense. He checked cam sensor and crankshaft sensor - all good too. This has been a problem for over two years. The worst time was when I was not principal city street at rush hour with 3 children in the vehicle. Of course, I was more worried about getting the children out of the stalled vehicle and safely to the side of the street before pushing the vehicle to a nearby Dodge dealership. It seems older Dodge Durangos like mine from 2006 have this come problem. Why hasn't a source to this problem been identified and a manufacturer recall solution been provided" twice I have had the vehicle in a Dodge dealership and new expenses for different things were prescribed, and none fixed the problem. Must the public wait until some dies on the road when this problem which leads to stalled vehicles have more accidents and then deaths"

AWD 5.7 hemi, the 4lo blinking while driving on both highway and city street and when I unlock my doors you could hear something engauging when the vehical was off. The 4lo light flashes and you can hear it switch under the car even when it is off. When, I unlock my doors you can hear it again.

My wife was driving the vehicle on a country road about 35 mph when the engine died and she had no power steering or brakes and had to drift to the side of the road. When she tried to restart the car the dash lights would light but the starter would not crank the engine. Shop says the computer has failed.

Recall # 07V092000 there is a recall for 2006 Durango but my VIN number isnt one listed. However it is having the exact same issue. I think that this that this in number got left out of the recall.

The traction light and service 4WD lights stay on, you can hear the 4WD kicking in and out when the car is sitting the driveway. Dodge acts like they have no idea what is causing this problem. You can google the symptoms and everybody that has a 04 to 06 Dodge is having the same issue. This should be something covered under a recall, there is to many people having the same issues.
