Very disappointed. I have had many different vehicles over my lifetime and this is the first time I have had this problem. I'm sure it will be difficult to repair and costly. There have likely been many failures of this type with this model, they just haven't been reported on this page. It's either an inexpensive motor or under designed.

Stress to the max when you're suv hits the 100,000 miles warranty and voids the repair. The parts are back ordered.

Oh you're going to love this one...

Brand New Dodge Durango 2011 Citadel, that already has an issue with the RHB Head Unit failing to play music from an IPod has now Crapped out a Heater Blower Motor as the bearings have corroded so badly that the motor fan assembly was grinding and squealing like a stuck pig in the vehicle for over month and a half.

I had the motor assembly from vehicle and confirmed the failure by attempting to rotate the fan assembly. Fan assembly would not freely spin and had visible corrosion at the main balance bearing.

Dodge of Smokey Point fought us at ever turn to have this fixed, stating that we the owners must have done something wrong, like attempting to turn on the heater in a $47000 dollars truck to get warm. None the less we have the blower assembly working but what is preventing the condition from returning...out of warranty as all they did was replace it with the same part.

Signed IPOD LESS in Seattle Wa in a 47000 dollar truck.
