Either while starting up the car or while driving, the windshield wipers, traction light, brake light and sometimes headlights, etc. will go on by themselves. This has been an ongoing issue since 2015. I took it to a dealership and they replaced the steering column angle sensor. It's still not fixed. I kept taking it back and they pretty much just cleared codes and kept saying "couldn't duplicate issue" and was getting nothing done. However, one time I was actually picking up the car after they had assured me it was fixed, and the problem happened right in front of them. I had to leave the car again and they apparently didn't do anything else.

It's 2019 and I'm still dealing with the same issue. Once again they replaced the "steering column angle sensor" for the second time which i had to pay for this time, and within a few days the car acts up and the problem persists. The dealership keeps telling me to bring it back but refuses to offer a rental for me. The technician (currently Jeff Wells at Stevens Creek Chrysler Jeep Dodge in San Jose, CA) is very unprofessional and refused to even speak with me. This has been an ongoing issue with this car and I will finally file a complaint with Dodge and the BBB. I would think this dealership would have done their own research about this, as it appears to be a TIPM issue related and been going on for about 4 years now.
