Durango Crew 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 114,356 miles

Right after I started up the Durango, the engine starting shaking violently. The check engine light came on. Thinking this had to do with the previous cam phaser replacement from a previous issue, I called the dealership and they said to have it towed in. They diagnosed it as a busted o2 sensor and leaking PVC valve. They replaced it. Ever since the cam phaser and PVC valve replacement, the Durango has not idled the same. It idles very rough intermittently. The dealership took a look at the problem of rough idling and said that I should go ahead and change the spark plugs. I did and $450 later, I am still dealing with the rough idling. Needless to say, I have dropped nearly $3k in this vehicle over the past year with all of the issues I have listed on this website.
