Durango Citadel 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,000 miles

My transmission just started stalling out at red lights where it would turn the whole car off, and also would shift roughly.

Durango Citadel 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,900 miles

About three weeks ago we were driving down a busy road when all of the sudden my car shifted to 4th gear and smelled like burning plastic. I tried to change it to D but it wouldnt so I restarted the car and it went into drive but the transmission was completely locked up. The dealer replaced my transmission and I finally got my car back. Today we were driving again and the same thing happened. The dealer had told me my clutch plates melted the first time. we will see what is going on this time, but they need to fix this NOW!
