The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that all four rims of the tires were replaced on three separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The dealer stated the rims were not completely made of aluminum, which possibly was causing the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact also smelled a strong odor of fuel emitting after the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 14V530000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 7,481.
