I have read other forums concerning this issue so I figured I would share my experience since I haven't seen this problem reported on this site.
The Chrome trimmed Air Conditioning vents that are in the dash are prone to pop out. The one on our passenger side is constantly popping out and we have to push it back up into place. I haven't taken the time yet to see if I could fix it with some sort of adhesive but I can tell you that Its really annoying and you expect a 2yr old SUV with right at 27,000 miles on it to stay together a little better.
For what its worth, its not just the chrome trim that goes around the outside edge but the whole vent seems to be what is coming out.
