The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Durango. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle experienced a flat tire. While replacing the tire on the vehicle, the scissor jack fractured. The tire was replaced with a hydraulic jack. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer who stated that the scissor jack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 63,404.
