Durango RT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

I have a Durango RT that is my very first Dodge vehicle and WILL BE MY LAST ONE. It started at Alan Vines in Jackson, TN where I seriously think they knew that this truck was a lemon. First off, I have had problems with the issue for about 10 months now and still no solution. I have gotten stopped by state troopers because my lights flash and they have informed me that if I drive this vehicle back on the streets until I get it fixed that I would get a ticket.

Well apparently Dodge/Chrysler does not care about their customers because I have called the headquarters and the case manager doesn't seem to care either due to not calling back within 2 weeks, no call. So get this guy named Matthew and he is okay but still lacks the customer Service skills in order to do his job as well. Well, now it's 10 months later and still no solution. Alan Vines ruined my business with them with all of my oil changes from not changing the oil and making the customer pay for oil change. I found out when I went to another place to get the oil changed and they said to come out to the bay and look at the Durango. I said okay and looked at, dude said, when was the last time you have changed your oil? I said that I have changed every month. He said that this oil was black and looked like it wasn't changed since I rec'd the vehicle.

Okay! So I stopped going to Alan Vines. I have reported the company to headquarters and they can care less if there customer was treated like SH*T!! Not really the best customer service experience that I have received but mostly the worst I have received. I can understand why the headquarters is having a hard time keeping up with all the complaints people are making. I am one of those customers that will advertise my experience to the public and then some. I went into the dealership after taking off today to get this issue resolved and the manager came out to the waiting room and stated that we have your part ordered and will be in 1 week. I said okay. He said that he was guessing that it would fix the problem. I said your guessing that it would fix the problem? Wow!! Where did you go to school at? Because sounds to me that you cheated your way through College. Well I guess that Dodge Admires workers that are Sh*tty and with no experience because that's all they can afford because no respectable mechanic would work for this company.

This car wasn't purchased NEW but was in GREAT condition when I purchased it but will be doing business for the rest of my life with MERCEDES/BMW/LEXUS..... NO MORE AMERICAN MADE CARS/TRUCKS/SUV'S for this guy. I would NEVER been treated this way at those dealerships and still didn't have to purchase a nice ride to get the service that a customer should receive. I have never been the type to complain on any company but the way that Dodge/Chrysler has treated me in the past and probably would be the future would always suck. I would love this truck if it was fixed and would not have any concerns but when it deals with state troopers stopping me, then we have issues that needs to be address and needs addressing ASAP with Corporate. They have the issues on file and will not forward them to the correct person to get this story out in the public and I am finding everything that I can to rely my message to Dodge Owners or NEW DODGE OWNERS..... NOT TO PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT FIX THE ISSUE.

My issues are still going on and when I call and speak about my vehicle they say " Gosh you have called in several times but we will get it fixed for you." When I get through letting them know the issue so they could address they state that they will forward to manager to reply back within 2 business days. When 2 business days are gone and so on and so on, like a week and I am still calling to complain and still no solution to why I have not received a phone call from a manager. I have called the NEWS Station and they are willing to hear my story but wouldn't guarantee that my case would be heard on television. I said as long as I can let someone know so they could forward to another friend and so on and so on. Because Dodge needs to start treating their customers right. Especially if they want to earn their business again.
