What it would do is the dash would go blank the radio would go blank the wipers would wipe while they was off the windows wouldn't roll up or down n the blinkers wouldn't work n I had a volt meter inside to tell me the voltage n it would peak out at 18.3 volts. Sometimes it would stop on its own but it would just keep going then I would have to pull over n turn the truck off then when I would go to restart it it would just click like the battery was dead. I would have to put my key fob in n turn it off then on while holding the break pedal n keep turning it off n on until it started again n there was a few times I had to have it towed to my house because it wouldn't start
