Pulling out of our driveway accelerated the car died.pushed it back into the driveway where it now sits.cannot let my wife drive a car that I got for her as a present. It does start but I found out that the fuel relay on this car is subject to failure. Chrysler Jeep Dodge has to replace the whole tipm (fuse box ) because all the relays are made by the same company, omron. Recall: R09/NHTSA 14-V-115 tipm why is taking so long to offer replacement parts and repairs for an issue that clearly states failure of the fuel pump can cause stalling and crash without warning? to be clear I have not experienced any incidents yet but am very concerned for my safety, those of my passengers and other drivers on the road should the fuel pump fail resulting in car stalling and crashing.

Upon opening my truck using the button on my keyless entry, the tailgate door when slowly up just like normal. My mother went to put something in the truck and the trunk door slammed down on her head and neck area. I wanted to see if this was just one time, so I tried to open it again, this time just by pulling up on the handle, and the same thing happened!! I took video of the "faulty" door as well. My mother is fine, but if that were my 4 year old daughter, it wouldn't be the same at all!!! talked to Chrysler and this was a "freak accident" and told me it wasn't a safety issue either so I would have to pay for it!!!! worst car buying experience ever!

R09/NHTSA 14V-115 parts not available until Sept - notice states that fuel pump could fail and car will stall. I drive kids around all day and do not need the added stress of wondering if my car is going to fail in the middle of traffic. Its ridiculous to expect people to wait 6 months to get a vehicle fixed. This is the third recall on the vehicle for parts failing - in my opinion that speaks volumes toward the quality of vehicle Dodge provides, not to mention the poor service of not getting the right parts out to fix a potentially dangerous problem. Seriously....why send out notices if there are no plans to fix an issue for 6 months. I'll never buy another Dodge, this is my first and last - I've owned Chevrolet all my life and never had this many problems.

First incident: I drove about 80 miles out of town. Once I made it to my destination I returned to my truck to find out that the doors wouldn't unlock. I was able to take the key out of the remote to open the door. My truck wouldn't start. It was towed to the nearest Dodge dealer. I found out that the alternator had a recall and I was experiencing a known problem. I had to purchase a new battery and they replaced the alternator. I drove 5 minutes away from the dealership and my truck started to shut down on the highway. The sensor lights started coming on for the battery, breaks, etc. And the windshield wipers came on. After about a minute later my truck completely shut down. It is back at the dealership and I'm waiting for solution.

Went to pull out into traffic and it stalled. Cranked again, nothing. Then started. It happened again 2 days later. Took to dealer and they said it was a faulty tipm and not covered by warranty.
