SO UPSET! I bought a 2013 Durango from Meador dodge in fort worth mid July, haven't even had it 4 months nor put more than 5 thousand miles on it, the check engine light has been on twice now, I paid over $35k for this car. I take it up to the dealership for them to tell me its a emission problem and is not covered under the 3 year or the 36K miles , I am 10 miles under 36k and apparently the 3 years is based on manufacturer date , even though its a 2013 and we are in 2016, the warranty expired DEC 2015. Not to mention the fact that I paid a lot extra for the extended warranty , that doesn't cover it either. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN NOR WILL I EVER OWN ANOTHER DODGE ! I call Dodge corporation for them to tell me it is covered so my husband took it back to the dealership only to call Dodge corp and them tell us that the person who told me that doesn't know what they are talking about.

Took in to dealership because check engine light came on along with other sensors. Changed spark plugs, sensors, etc. but check engine light stayed on. Drained oil to find metal shavings - new engine required!
In researching a rebuilt engine option, found out they are VERY hard to find because a lot of people are looking for them. It appears there is a real issue with the Dodge engine. My Durango is only 5 years old. I found on this site where Dodge has been having problems since 2004.
Wish I had known before purchasing. Needless to say I won't be buying another Dodge.
