transfer case neutral switch inoperative no spare parts

In August of 2016 noticed The light on the Transfer Neutral switch was on indicating the case was in Neutral. I had not put it in Neutral. I got the light out but it was blinking. I took it to the Dealer. First Service Rep didn't know anything about the switch. The Case went into Neutral and would not come out. Rep. had to go talk to a Technician. Tech got Case in gear. A part was ordered. That was the last week of August. The part is still on back order and the last update on availability is November 11, 2016.
