Durango R/T 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,000 miles

Can't open the gas cap cover by pressing the button. You have to have someone hold the button, and another person open the cap cover. Super annoying. A workaround if you have longer arms and you're by yourself, open the trunk and remove the black plastic mold/container on the bottom left side, and theres a wire you can pull to release the lock manually, while simultaneously open the gas cap cover.

Durango Citadel V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 77,000 miles

The dealer suggested replacing the whole gas door unit. We declined. Instead we repaired it ourselves. It was a pain to get the pin back into the door mechanism though worth not having to spend money for a replacement door instead of just replacing the (holding) pin.
