The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Durango. While driving in the rain, the sun roof and windshield leaked. The leaks caused the vehicle to shut off in the middle of a parking lot since the star connector was affected. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and repaired, but the parts that were replaced were unknown. The contact stated that the failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic. Sealant was placed in the leak areas; however, after heavy rain, the vehicle shut off again due to water entering the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired for the most recent failure.
