There is no spark going to the carburetor. There is gas getting there and the distributor cap has been replaced. The plugs and plug wires have been replaced. I was told it could be either the automatic shutdown relay or the ignition control modular. What the hell are those and where are they in the car! I have been to three auto parts stores and none of the people working there can tell me anything about where to look under the hood or if the problem is even under the hood. This car has been sitting in my carport for two months and I am at a loss. I would take it to a mechanic, but I don't want to waste towing it there if they can't fix it (I'm sure you are well aware of the cost of labor at a mechanics shop). I would just like to troubleshoot it myself and see what I can do. I am pretty handy with tools. I have family members that would like to have the car but for some strange reason they would like it to run. Go figure!!! Please help me!!!!!!!
