After inspection of vehicle, consumer was informed that the fuel injection system needed to be replaced, fuel was leaking at the rubber O-rings and the fuel injection rail, as cited in recall 00V2688, consumer is upset that Chrysler says there is not a recall, but yet NHTSA states that there is.

The consumer noticed a faint odor of gasoline, the vehicle was taken to the dealer where they replaced the fuel injection system because fuel was leaking at the rubber O-rings and the fuel injection rail, the consumer contacted the manufacturer who stated there was no recall but when he contacted NHTSA he was told there was a recall but it had not been implemented yet 00V-268. Nlm
