problem #2

Dec 202002

Grand Caravan SE 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,103 miles

This vehicle only has less than 63000 kms and is not an everyday van. It used only if there are visitors and for sending off family members to and from airport.

Having been retired recently I decided to bring the van to dealer when I stayed in Nanaimo, BC last April 2017 to have them check what was wrong and after spending around Cad$2000.00 the door still is not functioning right. Then again when I returned to Richmond, I again tried the Columbia Chrysler to have them find out what was really wrong. It again was not successful in getting the doors fixed to function correctly as designed. There were no fault codes and the door just unlatched and refused to continue to open or close. And occasionally it will close and after several attempts pushing the switches will wake up and open.

Technician did not understand what was really wrong.

Now, after paying another bill, still it failed to solved the problem.

May I now request that the factory tells us what can be done to resolve this issue which has stayed with the car only less than 2 years after it was purchased new.

Thank you for whatever help you may be able to provide.
