The contact owns a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that smoke appeared from the side mirror power switch. The panel melted although no flames were present. In addition, the horn failed to activate when depressed. The contact replaced the power switch, but the horn was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 137,700.
